Reliance Energy Limited is now Reliance Infrastructure Limited

Anil Dirubahi Ambani Group company(ADAG), Reliance Energy Ltd changed its name to 'Reliance Infrastructure Ltd' , which as per the statement reflects the nature of business more closely.I guess the company wants to remove the confusion in investors having the synonyms Energy,Power,Natural Resources in its companies names.
Reliance Infrastructure Ltd is constructing country's tallest 100-storey building in Hyderabad, and has plans to set up SEZs in Noida and Mumbai.It is also in advanced stages of bidding for several metro, airports, highway and energy distribution projects across the country, the statement added

RBI directions to simplify the ATM services

Now you no longer need to think twice to thrice to withdraw from your nearest ATM,which will most probably be not your banks' one :-)
RBI has directed the banks to follow the below directions inspite of their opposal.Cheers to ATM users
1]RBI has put a cap of 20Rs per transaction at any[banks] ATM.This will come to into effect from April 1 2008.
2]From April 2009 onwards the withdraw and deposit transaction in any ATM will be free
3]Balance enquiry operation will be free of cost with immediate effect.

This will certainly end the users confusion about the ties/relationships among the banks and the cost they will charge for the transaction they do.Although the bankers are worried about the move, considering the volume of operations that are going to increase, it should keep them in profit.
