TCS launches second campus in Hyderabad

Country's leading IT services company TCS launched its second campus in Hyderabad.Synergy Park, as it is named is located in Gachibowli,spreading over 50 acres was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy.This campus will be its largest campus in the City.This softwares SEZ will provide employment to 8000 people who will serve the segments like Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment, Government, Health care & Life Sciences, Hi-tech, Manufacturing, Retail as well as Banking & Financial Services with a focus on technology areas like enterprise solutions, assurance services and infrastructure services as well as IT services.The first phase which became operational on Monday was established with a cost of 250 crore.The construction of the second phase will commence in April this year.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mr. S Ramadorai said: “The inauguration of Synergy Park is a significant milestone for our operations in Hyderabad and underlines the importance of the city as a key center in our Global Network Delivery Model. “With a strong education eco-system, plentiful talent and good infrastructure, Hyderabad has emerged as a leading IT destination and the city will continue to play a significant role in our growth plans”.
