This week Google has released a downloadable Java application for a faster GMail access.Means with the latest version we can access the mails with fewer key strokes,which is very important while accessing web on a mobile.Right now the application is open for US/Canada mobile users only.Yesterday when I opened the Google Home page on my mobile,it prompted me to download the Faster GMail application.The GMail version 1.0.0 was around 112KB for my Nokia 6020 mobile.I accepted to download it to my mobile,but the download was not successful even though it retried several times.I think it may take few more days for Non US and Canada users to use this application.I went through the demo of the application , I feel it is OK.It comes with Search feature too.Overall if they can reduce the size of the application it will be even better.Google Home Page For your Mobile : http://Google.com/Xhtml
