The much rumoured and the much awaited phone sort of device from the Apple stable has finally been unveiled.It called it iphone.[But I heard Cisco holds the patent for iphone].Anyway,one can say it is really a revolution in the Phone,Multimedia market.In Apples words the new iphone is a widescreen ipod,a revolutionary phone,a breakthrough internet device embedded with high technologies.
Talking about the features:
1] First it is a no key pad phone.Unlike the conventional mobile phone where the plastic key pad accupies most of the space,iphone comes with a soft/virtual keypad[both Numeric and QWERTY].In short the full screen can be used for viewing the videos,photos etc.,While viewing photos and videos,iphone can be tilted horizantally for better viewing. 2]iphone is operated with Multi Touch interface, which Apple claims as the most revolutionary interface after the mouse inception.All the operations viz, making/Terminating a call,typing an SMS using the soft QWERTY keyboard,multimedia operations etc can be made with the human finger as the pointing device.
