Some cools shortcuts you can use while working with blogger.Most of them are easy to remember, as they are similar to our MS Word shortcuts.
control + b = Bold
control + i = Italic
control + l = Blockquote (when in HTML-mode only)
control + z = Undo
control + y = Redo
control + shift + a = Link
control + shift + p = Preview
control + d = Save as Draft
control + s = Publish Post
Though these are available here for quite a long time,I have never tried them before.Now pressing Ctrl+S to publish this......

Get Faster GMail

This week Google has released a downloadable Java application for a faster GMail access.Means with the latest version we can access the mails with fewer key strokes,which is very important while accessing web on a mobile.Right now the application is open for US/Canada mobile users only.Yesterday when I opened the Google Home page on my mobile,it prompted me to download the Faster GMail application.The GMail version 1.0.0 was around 112KB for my Nokia 6020 mobile.I accepted to download it to my mobile,but the download was not successful even though it retried several times.I think it may take few more days for Non US and Canada users to use this application.I went through the demo of the application , I feel it is OK.It comes with Search feature too.Overall if they can reduce the size of the application it will be even better.

Tabs list

IE7 and Firefox 2.0 have come up with a new fancy feature to look at the list of all the opened tabs in the current browser Window.IE7 organised all the tabs in a miniature form in grid format.Firefox just lists them in text format at the right end of the tab bar.

During the past several weeks or months you would have come across the term (product) RED.Today I have come to know its a group formed to raise awareness and money for The Global Fund by teaming up with some of the world's top brands to produce (PRODUCT) RED-branded products. A percentage of each (PRODUCT) RED product sold is given to The Global Fund ,which will be used to fight against AIDS,Malaria,Tuberculosis in Africa.As per this each of these companies will produce one or more of its products in Red colour/interface etc.Most recently Apple has launched its red version of the ipod Nano,from which $10 will be given to the Global Fund.
So next time when you go for shopping ,let yourself go for a RED product that will boost this effort.Hope one day all these diseases will become part of the History.

Undo Close Tab - Firefox 2

I observed a new feature in my latest firefox 2.0 download.It lets users to undo the recently closed tab.This will really come handy when you unintentionally close some tabs while surfing the web.
The final build of firefox 2 , code named Bon Echo is expected to be completed by mid next week.
